PMAY Urban 2.0 helpline numbers, WhatsApp and email

These are shown on the official Unified Web Portal home page and FAQ page:

The FAQ page shows an older address at Nirman Bhawan. Use these for PMAY 2.0 questions such as form errors or application status. Before calling, keep your Application ID ready, but share it only with the official helpline. If you have not applied yet, read PMAY 2.0 apply online first.

Old CLSS home loan subsidy toll-free numbers

For the old PMAY-U 1.0 Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme (CLSS), the official CLSS page on pmay-urban.gov.in lists these toll-free numbers of the central nodal agencies:

• NHB: 1800-11-3377 and 1800-11-3388
• HUDCO: 1800-11-6163
• SBI: 1800-11-2018

The new home loan subsidy under PMAY 2.0 is called ISS. For ISS questions, contact your lender first, then the PMAY-U 2.0 helpline above. Subsidy amounts are explained on PMAY amount and installments.

PMAY Gramin helpline number and email

As reported by Housing.com (February 2024), the PMAY-G helpline is 1800-11-6446 and the email is support-pmayg@gov.in. We could not load the official PMAY-G portal to confirm these, so treat them as reported, and if they do not work, go to your block office.

For most rural problems, the fastest help is local. Parliament replies state that PMAY-G has grievance officers at Gram Panchayat, Block, District and State levels, each with a designated official, and complaints are meant to be disposed of within 15 days. States also use their own grievance systems and CM helplines. To check your record before complaining, use PMAY status check.

Some numbers that circulate online for PMAY could not be found on any official page, so we have not listed them.

How to file a PM Awas Yojana complaint online (CPGRAMS)

The central public grievance portal, CPGRAMS, accepts complaints about PMAY. The Ministry of Rural Development forwards rural complaints to the states. A PIB document of August 2026 also says CPGRAMS can be used through its mobile app (UMANG) or at Common Service Centres.

1. Open the official CPGRAMS portal at pgportal.gov.in.
2. Register or sign in with your own mobile number. The portal sends its own OTP; type it only on that official site.
3. Look for the option to lodge a grievance. Choose the Ministry: Housing and Urban Affairs for PMAY Urban, Rural Development for PMAY Gramin.
4. Describe the problem briefly: what happened, when, which office, and what you want done. Attach copies of your acknowledgment or sanction letter if asked.
5. Submit and note the grievance registration number. Use it later to check progress on the same portal.

Screens on CPGRAMS change from time to time. If the menu looks different, look for "Lodge" or "Grievance". According to a Parliament reply, 2,486 PMAY-G complaints about irregularities were received on CPGRAMS from 1 April 2016 to 31 July 2025, and 2,445 were resolved.

Report fraud and stay safe

• MoHUA has said it has not authorised any private person to collect money for PMAY Urban benefits.
• No fee is charged to be included in PMAY Gramin, and money goes only by DBT to your own Aadhaar-linked account.
• Bhopal police warned in November 2025, as reported, about fake APK files promising PM Awas installments that can hack phones. Do not install apps from links.
• For online fraud, the national cyber helpline 1930 was cited in a state advisory, as reported; you can also report to the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal or police.
• Never share OTP, Aadhaar or bank details with unknown callers, even if they say they are from the PMAY office.
